The Annual Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of
Commerce Christmas Banquet will be Monday,
December 2nd at
6:00 pm at MCHS
cafeteria . Tickets are $19 per person and must be
purchased in advance at the local Chamber Office.
Carol Perkins and Susan Chambers will provide delightful
recipient of the 2013 Jim C. Coleman Community Service Award will be
announced and honored. Delicious food, great fellowship, hilarious
entertainment, and magnificent door prizes make this a Christmas
Event one does not want to miss!
The Holiday Home Tour will be
Sunday, Dec 8th
from 1 :00 pm until 4:30 pm. Metcalfe County
residents open their homes for the community to enjoy.
Homes in the tour will be announced at a later date. Freeda
Reece is chairperson of this event and can be contacted at 432-3231.
Metcalfe County Christmas Lighting Contest will be judged
Monday, Dec. 9th. No
entry fee. Call Chamber Office to enter. Prizes awarded
The Annual Metcalfe County Christmas Parade
will be held on Saturday, December 14th
beginning at 1:00 pm.
Line- up will be at the Metcalfe County Intermediate Center.
The parade theme is Candy Christmas. Nine year old Kaden Scott will
be the grand marshal. There is no entry fee.
Cash prizes will be awarded in seven categories. Applications

Martha Bragg will conduct the annual Caroling
for Christ on Square on Sunday,
15th 3-4pm. One can join with others in lifting up their voices in
praise for the real reason for the season.

The Biggest Little Chamber in the Commonwealth
The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce serves Edmonton and surrounding communities in Kentucky. With over 300
individual members and more than 150 business members, we really are the "Biggest Little Chamber in the Commonwealth!" The
Chamber of Commerce hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Senior Celebrity Banquet, Sulphur Well
Homecoming, Annual Pumpkin Festival, and Christmas Parade,
Trick-or-Treat Around the Square, Holiday Home Tour, and Caroling
for Christ in the Court Yard, just to name a few.
In addition to hosting events throughout the year, the Chamber also sponsors an annual memorial scholarship for a Metcalfe
County High School senior, presents the "Educator of the Year" award and the "Educator Idol of the Year" award in May,
and presents the Jim C. Coleman Community Service Award in December.
