HISTORIC COURTHOUSE GETS MAKEOVER
The historic Metcalfe County Courthouse, built in 1869, has recently undergone a complete restoration.  Many modifications inside and outside the historic courthouse have taken place in an attempt to return it to its original condition.

The historic courthouse currently houses the offices of Metcalfe County Clerk Carol England and staff, Metcalfe County Judge Executive Greg Wilson and staff, and Property Valuation Administrator Michael Welsh and staff.

The courthouse is located on the public square in Edmonton and is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  For more information on the history of the historic courthouse and Metcalfe County, please see our History page.
